Session Fees

• $225 per hour

Payment is due at the time of service and can be made via cash or Interac e-Transfer to nelsoncd@shaw.ca. An official receipt will be issued for submission to your health benefits provider.

Insurance Coverage

Insurance companies are not billed directly. My services as a Clinical Social Worker (MSW, RSW) may be fully or partially covered through your extended health benefits or employee benefits plan. Please contact your health benefits provider directly for details and to confirm the extent of your coverage.

Psychological counseling is considered a tax-deductible medical expense in Canada. Be sure to retain your receipts for potential inclusion in your annual tax filing.

Cancellation Policy

Life is unpredictable. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or for missed appointments without prior communication, the full session fee will apply. In case of an emergency, I will work with you in a caring and flexible way. This policy helps me hold space consistently and respectfully for all my clients.
