A Note From Cheryl
Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and I honour the courage it takes to reach out. I am Cheryl Nelson, a Calgary therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, young people, and high‑responsibility professionals who carry a great deal for others.
My work is grounded in compassion, emotional attunement, and a deep belief that healing happens in connection. I help clients navigate anxiety, burnout, neurodivergence, relationship stress, emotional disconnection, parenting challenges, and child mental health concerns — always at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
Therapy with me is a place to feel seen, supported, and gently guided toward clarity and emotional steadiness. Together, we will make sense of what feels heavy and create space for healing, growth, and more connected ways of living
